Kletterkousies has been part of the lives of Pretoria families for more than 14 years.
We’re a Christian, bilingual pre-primary school in Môregloed, caring for children from 3 months through to 5 Years (Grade RR).
And we’re deliberately not a big school.
We believe being smaller gives us something incredibly valuable: the opportunity to know our children personally and give them the individual attention and affection they deserve.
Our Philosophy
Childhood Is About More Than Learning
The early years are filled with enormous development.
Children are learning how to communicate, make friends, move their bodies, express themselves, solve problems and understand the world around them.
Much of that learning happens naturally through play, exploration, creativity and everyday interaction.
At Kletterkousies, we want children to have opportunities to learn and develop while still enjoying something equally important: being little.
Every Child Matters
Children aren’t all the same.
They have different personalities, interests and ways of experiencing the world around them.
Our smaller school environment helps us get to know the little people in our care and provide a more personal, familiar experience.
We want children to feel seen, safe, encouraged and loved.
Growing with Good Values Christian values form an important part of the Kletterkousies environment. We encourage children to learn values such as kindness, respect, gratitude and caring for others as they grow and interact with the people around them.
Afrikaans & English Kletterkousies is a bilingual pre-primary school. Children are exposed to both Afrikaans and English through their everyday interactions and activities, creating a natural environment in which their communication and language skills can develop.
